A dear friend is planning her wedding. So it’s not a rare occurance to get a quick text about copper sequins or a question about peonies or a request for a good letterpress. For most of my friends, the process of planning a wedding, with all the expos and the how-to articles and the DIY suggestions and the Pinterest boards can be a mix of inspiration and overload. Because, although, it might be nice for things to slow down a bit during your engagement, you still have your research, your writing, your 9-to-5.

Together with dress designer Miss Tashina and the talented calligrapher Tara Odenthal, we made this series of photographs of a few wedding ideas we’ve found intriguing this season.
